This is probably the most famous ramen shop in Gwangju. I had only heard about it by word of mouth until I recently got the chance to visit, entering after a 1-hour wait. I had the special event menu, Kamo Shoyu, and the duck flavor combined with the savory saltiness was simply the best. However, the wait is so brutal that I wouldn't want to visit regularly; I'll likely plan my next visit around days when my preferred menu items appear as specials.
근처 스페인 음식점 예약했다가.. 브레이크 타임을 잘못 알아서 급하게 방문한집입니다 (요긴 다음에 가보겠습니다 ^^) 저는..라멘집이 한국에 많이 생기던 시절에 몇번 먹어 보고는 실망해서 다신 안갔거든요 그 상실감을 멘타루 음식이 채워주네요 나오다보니 한분이 2그릇 치우시던데 젊을때면 저도 그러고 남았을 맛과 깊이입니다 챠슈도 그냥 끓여서 말랑해진거 아니고 훈연해서 맛있는 느낌이구요 죽순 목이버섯등 토핑도 제대로입니다 국물은 말할것도 없이 진하고 깔끔합니다 저는 소금라면 일행들은 돈코츠 먹었는데 취향차이를 존중하지만 돼지를 깊게 우린곳엔 소금이 최고라는 개인적 의견입니다 (옆으로 새자면 강북구 수유동 속초할머니감자탕 국물에 라면 사리 넣어보면 액기스 안넣고 직접 우린 돼지국물이 뭔지 이해가 되실거에요) 아무튼 멘타루는 국물을 제대로 우려낸곳이라 소금라면 강추합니다 ^^ (가기전에 캐치테이블 예약하셔요)
A place where you can enjoy top-tier Tonkotsu ramen in Gwangju. Everything needed for ramen was perfect. The soup, noodles, toppings, chashu, and so on are good enough to rival those in Japan. Parking is a bit difficult in this area, but if you're craving ramen in Gwangju, you should definitely check it out.
광주에서 가장 라멘이 맛있다고 소문이 자자한 양림동에 있는 라멘집입니다. 주차는 사직도서관 쪽에서 눈치껏 대면 되지만 조금 협소합니다. 라멘매니아들 사이에서 광주에 가면 꼭 들러야 할 라멘집으로 입에 오르는 곳이고 일부러 사람이 제일 없을 것 같은 목요일 오후 3시에 갔는데 웨이팅이 있었고 20분정도 기다린 것 같습니다. 이유는 홀이 다소 적기 때문에 어쩔 수 없는 부분인 것 같습니다. 들어가면 키오스크로 주문 할 수 있고 돈코츠라면을 주문했습니다. 첫 방문에 돈코츠라면은 호불호가 강해서 주문하지 말라고 적혀있던 거 같은데, 한 번 경험해보고 싶어서 주문했습니다. 지금까지 라멘집에서 먹었던 돈코츠랑은 아에 달랐습니다. 돼지향이라고 해야할까요? 전체적으로 정말 깊고 진해서 호불호가 있을 거 같긴한데, 저는 매우 만족했기 때문에 다시 한 번 방문해서 다른 메뉴들도 먹어보려고 합니다. 광주에서 라멘을 먹어야 한다면 한 번 가보시는 걸 추천드립니다.
광주에 있는 모든 라멘집 중 여기가 최고인 것 같다. 요청 시 공기 무료추가(반드시 다 먹어야함) 개인적으로 간이 센것을 좋아해서 스페셜메뉴란에 있는 이에케라면과 오시리오청탕이 맛있었다.
